I can't wait to see it. I'm a huge fan of SPy Kids (i suggest you to get the Spy Kids 2 DVD)
But how abnout the third episode? It's goin to be projected on 3D?
I knew that 3D was a technical innovation that never worked. Also Hitchcocok said he wasn0t unable to let it work on 'Dial M for Murder'.
What do you think?

Well, must admit that I'm not a fan of the Spy Kids series.
Yes, it is 3D- you get the 3D glasses when you enter the screen, which apparently you can keep
The technology of 3D was not the problem (anyone who has seen Terminator 2-3D can vouch for that!), it was a case of 3D as a form of day to day movie watching that didn't catch on- a passing fad- a ship in the night- a phase- a blip- a flop.
The fact it's a Spy Kids sequel, with a gimmicky twist (3D), released in the school holidays- I smell an extremely fat commercial movie, it's a bit desperate (plus they even gave Sly Stallone a part!!!)

spy kids 3d is just one print, so only one machine is running, i watched some off it today, i had to pinch the glasses from behind paybox, at times its hard to remember that the film is in colour as one half of the glasses is in blue and the other red, some shots work and others dont, but its a good idea, i hope we see a little more in the future.

Feels like it sometimes.
Maybe I should tidy up...
Or maybe I'll just continue to wallow in my own filth.
Anyway, yeah. Looking forward to Spy Kids 3D

has the movie got screwed up colours then? a few years back the BBC did a red nose night ( i think it was red nose day) and they had programs in 3D, they had doctor who if i remember rightly, but the great thing was it was in such a way that looked normal if you didnt have the glasses, but it looked 3D if you did. The glasses if i remember werent red and blue like the traditional ones but had clear "lenses" that did something special.

I was wondering that... but the Spy Kids movies seem to be filmed only using primary colours anyway, so it'd be hard to tell if they were messed up. The trailers look normal. Be interesting to see what they do for the DVD.
Incidentally, the flick uses the traditional red and green lenses.

i think the tex-mex Rodriguez uses primary colors to recreate the looks of the old amazing Ray Harryhausen movies (and this is clear in the funny bunch of monster in SK2).
Plus i guess the second movie was shot using the Digital Sony 9000 built by ILM for 'Attacks of the Clones'.

Saw this today - Must admit, I wasn't that impressed. Probably the poorest Spy Kids flick in the seires. Story lets down the cool use of 3D.
On iMax, the visuals will rock. In your local cinema with those ****** cardboard 3D glasses, its kinda lame.
Go see this on iMax.
